    I have 4 of these cameras . They have sd cards. That’s all I need for what I use it for. Now it won’t play back motion detector unless I sign up for their cloud ! I DO NOT Want Cloud ! I will throw them all away !
  • Terrible upgrade, full of bugs & poor layout

    Upgrade Problems: Can’t drag timeline from main screen. Cannot open motion alerts, keep getting access denied. I’d be laughing if I wasn’t so irritated with the downdate because cameras are now a joke
  • The access to the cloud is so unstable!!!

    The access to the cloud is very poor, loading time is very long and missing many records. Don’t really understand what I’m paying for...
  • Was great now not so much

    I can barely play my SD card recordings or even get connected to my live feed since things update. Shockingly enough when I try to play recordings in the completely separate and unnecessary tab it prompts me to sign up for the subscription service. Really crippled this app overall.

    The last update now prevents you from viewing anything previously from you SD card which makes the camera useless unless you purchase their cloud service. What is the sense in a company making an SD slot on a camera so you can utilize it without paying for cloud service. Totally sad, just lost another customer!!!

    Worst update to an app! Bring back the timeline. I should have to tap multiple icons to find the activity saved on the SD card. Garbage. If this isn’t fixed soon I’ll be going elsewhere.

    Updated: Please get that annoying unneeded magnifying slider from the last update from blocking the right side of the screen, pinch and soon is just fine! Please give us the ability you see all cameras on one screen and stop the subscription swindle! We've been waiting for this feature for years! Please correct the endless buffering trying to connect! I'm an original yi user and it's always been stuck buffering! Why are the alerts never working? What happened to the time on top of the video??? I've seen YI do some pretty awful things over the years, like making us pay for the long waited for multiple multiview, but this outdid everything. Is anyone at YI listening to the customers and end users? Does anyone care? ************ That's right YI. Move the alerts tab from the bottom to the social media and advertising section and replace it with a game icon. THIS IS A SECURITY APP AND NOT A SOCIAL MEDIA APP. 😡 The January 18 update to fix the T-Mobile connectivity issue has done absolutely NOTHING!!! It's for the "new" dome or 1080 camera only? Really??? Still waiting!! I hate doing this but I'm on the way to Amazon to write a terrible review and warn others to NOT buy YI cameras as they are DEAD ON ARRIVAL!!! Since the last update it no longer connects to my LTE or cell phone data, only on my home WiFi. ????? My four cameras are now useless. It also takes FOREVER buffering when attempting to view the camera!!! STOP THE ADS WHEN I ATTEMPT TO VIEW THE CAMERA! YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE TO SIT THRU A COMMERCIAL FIRST WHILE WHILE YOUR BURGLAR ALARM IS GOING OFF!!!

    Like everyone else here, upset about burying the memory card recordings. The whole reason I’ve purchased and recommended so many of these cameras. Please revert or else the last time I’m purchasing.
  • Hate the new update

    The new update ruined my experience with these cameras. I have been using yi home for 2 years now but the new update on viewing past activity is poorly done. I use these camera as a baby monitor and now you can’t easily look back on movement, and back to live you without switching out menus. It won’t establish a connection and you have to force close to every time you switch threw the menus! Time to look for new cameras
