  • Mia tic doesn’t listen to the players

    By i hate robinhood.
They recently reverted a covid change which allowed stops and gyms to be double the range due to pandemic but reverted it while hundreds of thousands of players are against it cutting the distance to spin stops in half!! It makes it unsafe to play where i need to constantly keep crossing the street andeven trespassing to try and get these stops and gyms where before i could do it safely. They have ignored the community and even a petition signed by over 125,000 people to keep the change but have not said anything about it. This game was used to connect with my family around the country and now we’re all skeptical to keep playing since it puts us and their kids at dangers now.
  • Not so great anymore with recent changes

Doesn’t make the game enjoyable to have to be on top of poke stops and gyms. You’ve lost a player.
  • Removing standard features

    By kayjacker12344566
They are removing features that have been in the game for 2 years for no reason.
  • Terrible Developers

    By Steez80808
The game is amazing, but despite hundreds of thousands of requests and player feedback, Niantic refuses to listen. They’ve made the barrier for PvP so high that it’s not worth playing unless you’re already a Vet or just love spending money. Shorted the distances again for poke stop, despite a second wave of a pandemic and thousands of people saying it was better with double distance anyway.
  • Unplayable after restarting 1 year ago

    By B Lynes
I played pogo when it came out but lost interest; with COVID I started playing again and wasn’t sure why but I enjoyed it and played it everyday for over a year and spent $450 in the game. Today the pokestops stopped being reachable and I suddenly realize why the game felt so much better when I restarted. The game is not worth playing and is in a sad state right now. Don’t bother picking this up again. Just a disappointing waste of time and money.
  • Not Safe to Play

As of August 1, 2021, Niantic has reduced the distance to spin PokeStops and Gyms and other features introduced at the beginning of the pandemic because, (their words) “Just go outside and play!” forcing people to crowd around gyms and stops during a resurgence of the virus, making the nearly impossible for people in rural areas and/or many who are disabled to play without spending money, making some stops and gyms dangerous to access again, and overall cutting the quality of the game. As a day 1 player, I am disappointed and until it is safe to play, I will be deleting this app.
  • Maybe try improving gameplay experience?

    By Bobo786
Hey Niantic, I’ve got an idea that might help solve the woes of your waning user base. Maybe instead of trying to increase engagement by connecting contacts, you could actually put some work into the game. You’ve got thousands of players with great ideas and you continue to let the game become stale and tired. Maybe…. And this is a big maybe…. If you listened to what players want, you might actually be able to win back some of your lost base. Remember though, you’d have to actually do some work first. Please ask your corporate overlords (kindly) to allocate a few pennies for the designers and developers? Maybe some user testing? Just an idea.
  • Always glitches

For an app that is awkward updating it never seems to work smoothly. The gps is way off in this game. And on point in my others so it’s not my phone.
  • Why revert something that made the game 100x better?

    By tpc130
This is the only app review I’ve ever done and I think it’s well deserved. Recently, Pokémon Go reverted the Pokestop/Gym spinning radius, along with the incense effectiveness, and it makes absolutely zero sense. I play the game daily and that increased radius implemented last year made the game SO much more enjoyable for me and all of my friends that play. I’ve looked at posts and comments online as well, and there are a ton of disabled players that were able to enjoy the game to its full potential because of the increased radius. Now, after Niantic reverted that change back to the normal distance, I don’t even want to open the app. And even content creators for the game are extremely disappointed to the point where they’re writing letters and emails to niantic labs to bring those amazing additions back. Niantic, PLEASE, for once listen to your players and community and bring those gameplay mechanics back!!!
  • Horrible Communication with Player Base

    By TrappedInThePast
No antic does not listen to their community, especially the ones that are supporting them the most.. the players. They do not respond with a yes or no.. they just ignore.
