All you do is literally wait for buildings to upgrade... that’s it... that’s all that you do... 1-2 buildings at a time... My city hall is level 6 and I have 19 structures that I can upgrade... which take 5 to +50 minutes to upgrade. I might as well go outside and watch grass grow. EDIT TO DEVELOPER RESPONSE: Yes, you can kill the same level barbarians over and over because the only way to upgrade troops or get better/new ones is through the time gated building content. Fighting barbarians is a poor excuse for content. And I’m sure the PvP would be more redeeming if I had paid obscene amounts of money to win. Because everyone knows that the only way to have fun in PvP for a “pay to win” game like this is to spend obscene amounts of money. So far, your response to my complaints are evasive and weak. Don’t worry, not everyone can make a game worth playing.
  • It's cool

As long as don't take the game to serious it's a good game
  • It’s a pay to win game.

Grinding game to build your city, good for social on the right alliance but watch your hours of farming resource disappear during the killing events

This game is a fantastic online game where you can see so much real world people doing things in the same kingdom(server) as you! I think this game is the best.

I have been using an iPhone 8 and it isn’t very game friendly as it doesn’t support some functions. I bought a Samsung and wanted to continue playing your game after switching phones. However, people are telling me that I’ll lose everything. They also suggested linking to Facebook, but Facebook isn’t allowing that exchange. Is there any other options? I was trying to switch before Arknof Osiris tomorrow. Thx... awesome game by the way... Morpheus19

It’s very easy to learn to play the game
  • Order shrine

Well I mean it’s an overall great game I enjoy spending money here. What I don’t like is you lowered the order shrine and made the rewards worse. From 3 k gems to 500 gems. The other shrines have 3 k and that’s not really fair to the other players in any kingdom. So if this could be fixed that would be great
  • Excellent, But Flawed

Rise of Kingdoms, formally known as Rise of Civilizations, was one of my favorite games. I first downloaded it in November 2018, and played until April 2019. I loved it for so many reasons: the live-action map, excellent graphics, extremely dedicated players, etc. The alliance system was the best part. It allows for real-life diplomacy, war, territorial domination, and espionage. As someone who loves political scheming and military strategy, I was hooked. I played for around 6 hours a day, for about 6 months, and when I deleted the game, I had almost 5 million power, a Tier IV army, and was an Officer in a top-10 alliance. But I came to a realization that made me delete the game, despite the massive amount of time I had sunken into it: free-to-play, and low-spend, players like myself were at an insurmountable disadvantage with play-to-win players who would spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars to get ahead. Consequently, my kingdom (#1148) became ruled by a cohort of “whales,” as they are known, who dominated all the alliances and crushed anyone who opposed. Free-to-play governors can stay competitive for a while; however, the play-to-won crowd has access to the best commanders, who they can buy sculptures and XP for; the best troops, since they can upgrade military buildings, research new units, and use speedups to train huge armies quickly, all done with real money. Normal people that don’t have plenty of expendable income like me, a high school student, are quickly surpassed in power by those richer than themselves. And so, they must either get in line with those more powerful than themselves, or get destroyed in battles they simple cannot win. After 6 months, I grew tired of this, realized how powerless I was, and how the time I was putting into the game was ultimately going to be wasted, and deleted the game. It was one of the best decisions I have made in a while. This game has a ton of potential and is really unique, but the developers need to fix the pay-to-win tyranny that is dominating every kingdom.
  • Alliance gifting

    By cdub616
Really enjoy the game. Some of us were talking. It would be great if you could implement a system where we could gift things to others in our alliance: teleports, speedups, peace shields, etc. Or maybe an alliance shop, where things could be purchased for use by alliance members. Thanks! Denied access to Arc. Unknown error. Ugh! 😡
  • Great Game

This game is a lot like the popular game Clash of Clans but better in a lot of ways plus you can do a ton more in alliances
