Pay to play with glitches galore. I paid, had some fun being rich and powerful. Then glitches that the developer acknowledges, but doesn’t pay back players for lost time or money...sad. I was duped and I’ve learned my lesson. 1. Trek CANNOT make a good game. Hellava trailer, but not a game. 2. Developer is greedy beyond any Ferengi. If something goes wrong, rewards players with something to show your sincerity and willingness to keep them happy. Don’t just say “oops!” and move on. 3. Finally, spend some $$$and fix the flaws and monitor the game more closely. In the end, it’s just sad
  • Worse Star Trek game ever! And that’s saying something!

I would give this game no stars but Apple will not allow it. Pay to win at its worst. You cannot advance without paying. The price for in-game purchases is crazy expensive. The game is an Internet trolls paradise. People will pay big money to advance their ships so they can attack you and “warp” away or destroy your station for fun. I will never forgive CBS, Paramount or J.J. Abrams for allowing Scopely to use Star Trek this way.
  • Awesome game!

I highly recommend this game! It is really fun to build up your base and the galaxy map is large. Plenty to keep busy with.
  • Waste of time

Only way to get ahead is to spend your money! Hope Apple removes this game!
  • Hurry up and wait

The biggest issue I have with this game is the time you have to wait warping from system to system. Let’s say you have some building and research tasks running. You decide to kill time completing a mission. Except, it will take eight minutes to warp to the system where the mission takes place and there is literally nothing to do except watch your ship crawl across the galaxy. When you arrive at your destination you may talk to a trader or blow up an enemy ship, and then (guess what?) you’ll have to warp somewhere else to complete the next phase of the mission, and the waiting begins again. However, the worst thing is that if you leave the game during one of these “warp n’ wait” pauses and say, come back an hour layer, you are likely to find your ship was destroyed by a rival player while it was sitting idle. Now your ship is back where it started at home base and you have to wait twenty minutes to repair it. The text of the missions differs but they all amount to the same thing: Go here, go there, talk with this person, blow up some ships. If you could proceed through this quickly it wouldn’t be so bad, but the waiting is like slow death. ZZZZZZZzzzzzzz....
  • Greedy developers ruined the game

By introducing $50 packages so juveniles with money can become bullies and trolls of the Star Trek universe. It’s a real shame!
  • Pay to win never had it this good

In this game weather or not to pvp is not up to you. You are a triangle amongst hundreds and some of them just want to kill your ship. That being said, the pvp is all about how much your willing to use your credit card. The player killers can not be avoided and unless you want to drop $50/week or more you can’t win in a fight with them either. Unbalanced and shameless. Delete app
  • Not sure how got good rating

The upgrading your warehouses on your station are backwards. You have to update the production which have stopped working because your warehouse is full. So you keep updating the production and then the warehouse. If you go out mining then the game allows other people to attack and steal your stuff.
  • Fun but Pricey

    By Kevin in SF
After some initial frustration with the lack of intuitiveness with some of the game play, I settled in and enjoy the game. Unfortunately, after level 10 (of 50) it gets increasingly difficult to play without in game purchases of power and speed ups. Repair time for ships approaching 30 minutes, steep resource costs for researching and implementing improvements to your station, ships, and crew. Purchase prices for items that help you get over the humps are way overpriced...$19, $49, and $99 are astounding. How can the developers justify that other than greed. I want you to make money for your efforts but this is beyond reason.
