  • Terrible app

You can count on this app to crash every time you use it. Sad b/c it used to be so reliable.
  • never write reviews but...

    By Liz K. from CA
seriously. I think this is the first app review I’ve ever written in my life. but this one is tops. I use this to track how far away fires are, the AQI (especially for smoke), precipitation—all relevant in tumultuous California. it’s got everything and it’s super easy. love it.
  • Good app but too many notifications now

    By Jimmy Fuzzbuster
I really like the Weatherbug but after the most recent update I now get daily notifications showing precipitation likely in the next 24 hours. This is Extremely annoying and making me consider not allowing any notifications from weatherbug. I like the lightning and rain notifications but really anyone who uses the Weatherbug app already knows precipitation is likely in a certain timeframe, we really don’t need our hands held. It’s a noble concept but really more annoying than helpful.

  • Performance issues in latest version

    By Whydoyoumakemeputinanickname.
Love the app but the latest update has issues. Hourly view loads very very slowly - almost a minute. Map on the “now “ tab - not even sure that will load - got tired of waiting. This is now much less usable.
  • Nobody’s perfect, but…

    By WB is me
I was a Project Manager for a large transformer change out at a Nuclear Power plant. Nobody could be on top of that transformer if a lightning strike was within 10 miles. That Texas Nuke had a very comprehensive meteorological complex that warned me of a strike, which I relayed to the crew. Before I even got off the radio WeatherBug had the same warning on my phone. Pretty dang impressive.
  • Pretty good

Would have given it 5 stars if there were not ads on the site.
  • Alerts should be alerts

    By Marty's Momma
With the latest release now I show 5 or 6 alerts a day. The “commuter alert” is stupid. I can look out the window and see the roads are wet. I don’t need to be alerted to that fact. Alerts should be something of importance where I need to give it my immediate attention, like a tornado, blizzard, severe thunderstorm etc. Not a wet road. Stop messing up what was once a great app.
  • Freeze Warning needed

    By TheRayder87
I need to know if a temp below 34°F is forecast AND if it gets that cold especially if it wasn’t predicted. I also want to choose a weather station that’s closer to me; the one I have to choose is 10 miles away and 700’ higher
