  • Used to be a great app

    By Aquaimage
The ads in this app are getting progressively more obnoxious. Now there’s one that blasts music at you and tells you how much money you have “won.” The buttons on it to dismiss it are so tiny you almost invariably click through to some lame website. I’ve contacted the developer and complained and their excuse is that they don’t monitor the advertisers. Really? You own it and don’t take care of it. How stupid!
  • Scam Watch Out

    By Angels4grkids
I have a computer science degree in application software so I try enormous amount of apps. I love sampling one week or one month does it matter to me as I love to try the app before I buy. Fitness pal advertises a one month free trial. They charged me in full with no free trial. Sad way to take advantage of people lying to them. When time filing a complaint with the district attorney in which they were Inc. and the Better Business Bureau. Sad times.
  • Scanning issue

    By ForgetMeNot82
Lately, when I try to scan an item to add to my account I’m constantly getting an error. It won’t add. Don’t know if anyone else has this issue.
  • Must pay to get any functionality

    By Dominosix54
Seemed robust but everything I wanted to view cost additional fees. Very irritating. I deleted the app.

this app works but cause me an eating disorder😋
  • Food scanner does not work to create meals

    By wdrosenfeld
The scanner does not save foods in a new meal when trying to create a new meal. I hoped that this would be fixed in the last update but the problem persists.
  • Awesome app

    By Dale-man
    So cool!
  • App is fine, notifications need work

    By spwoody
The app works as advertised for tracking food and activity. The notification system does not work well. I get notifications to enter my lunch items when I have already done so. Very annoying and turned notifications off.
  • 1200 calories a day isn’t enough

    By fixplzzz887888
Asked my doctor why I wasn’t losing weight, she asked how many calories a day I eat and I told her around 1200. She was frustrated that so many people are given this number and told me to aim for at least 1400-1500 by adding a healthy snack like toast and pb on top of what I’m already doing. Weight started flying off after that.
  • I’ll Keep My Privacy Instead of Months Long Streak

    By Wordienerdie
I hadn’t yet checked MyFitnessPal’s data collection information, so when considering adding my Apple Watch to track my steps, and being prompted to allow access to my Health data, I thought I should check. On the bright side, diagnostic information is not linked to the user. Unfortunately, other things like My Health are. And identifier information is even used for tracking. Given that I purchased the Apple Watch, because 1) have an iPhone but also 2) because something like Fitbit is now owned by Google who has very sketchy data privacy practices, it’s not too difficult for me to say goodbye to MFP. Regardless of whether the newest update fixes the recent UI issues.
