This app works great except Google shoves ads in between your actual emails. Terrible user experience and going back to iOS Mail

I am having a problem emailing pictures to my work email I’m not sure if it’s because of the phone or something I didn’t have a problem doing this on my iPhone 11. I’m only rating this low to hopefully get the attention of someone. Every time I try to send pictures through the email it either doesn’t allow me to pick the pictures or it glitches out and doesn’t let me do anything at that point. I’ve also tried doing it through the pictures app on my phone and clicking Gmail and it doesn’t allow me to click pictures at all it just closes the whole screen.

It’s not buried in there either under the more apps - just gone altogether as of late. Reinstalling app did not fix.

  • Google staff reads your emails

Yep you read that right, they literally snoop into your emails to know what you’re talking about with coworkers, friends, family, etc. If you have a google acc btw they’re collecting your information like your full legal name, age, sex, location, etc. That’s how they give you recommendations on stuff. Besides all the tracking and data mining, the app is not that good in itself when it comes to unsubscribing and spam.

Ios 14 The major problem with this application is when trying to highlight text it doesn’t let you highlight whatever you want but highlights more or less. This problem has been going on since the beginning of the app when trying to reply or forward email - Selecting text to be erased or highlighted is a nightmare in the app! Why can’t you make it easier just like in a plain notepad? Please do something about it. Thank you
