    The magazine is out on the app, but I as a subscriber don’t have it, nor will I for a while. So much for customer appreciation. Problem is, I really like the content.

    Updated May 19, 2019. Still love the Magazine but the app, come on!! This is a joke. Can’t even download the current issue - let alone bookmark a page. If this is an in-house developer- someone need to be replaced. If outsourced, find a new provider - and the person in-house that oversees digital needs to go back to accounting. The magazine is terrific - I consider it a must read every week. Provides various sides and arguments on the issues and helps me form my own opinion. The app - meh. Too many technical issues. How many times should a subscriber be required to log in and out to get the latest issue? Issues used to be available thru the app on Friday afternoon. Often times the paper copy arrives before the issue is available on my iPad. And the tech support quality has fallen off a cliff.

    I downloaded the May 24 2019 issue with no problem then it disappeared. I have deleted and reinstalled the app, but can’t get that issue back. Since there was an update this week, I have to think that caused the problem.

    I agree with other reviewers: this app is dysfunctional. Failure to download and frequent crashes. As goodvas the content is, it’s utility vanishes when the magazine fails to appear. One positive note: support staff are very earnest and, when possible, helpful.

    May 24 2019 issue appeared on “Issues” page a bit after noon Friday & appeared to start downloading, then suddenly disappeared from the list. No change yesterday or today—only the issues through the previous week, May 17, are showing up. I’ve restored purchases via the iTunes app several times, rebooted my iPad, etc. No luck. Aside from occasional problems like this, the app isn’t really up to current standards for online news media. Awkward interface, paging, often fails to return one to place one left off reading, etc. Apps negatives outweighed by the excellent content curation. The website is very good— oils you guys please upgrade the app to match that?

    I am unable to see the current issue (May 24) to download. I received an IM that the issue was ready for download. The web site shows the current issue is ready, but it does not show up on my iPad app to download. I have signed out and in to the app and deleted and reinstalled the app. I still can’t see the new issue. I called customer service and they could not understand or offer any help. They boardered on being rude. I love the magazine content, but the app is terrible. This is a reoccurring problem among other less major problems I keep having with the app. Sent from my iPad

    I can’t get the font to enlarge, either by the pinch and expand method of iPad, or by a font adjustment at the top of the page. As it is, it is of even less use than the tiny print of the paper version. The internal settings of my device are set at maximum, yet I still have 1/8 inch height in the screen font. Any suggestions to render it readable?
