I updated the app and I lost like 3 filter affects that have always been free. It’s kind of ridiculous that I’ve been using grain on almost every image for the past 4+ years but now I have to subscribe and pay for it??

It doesn’t work properly after I save what I’ve spent a ton of time on I reopen the image to be different than what I was working on or it won’t load entirely.

i have been using vsco for years, i have the premium membership (not the new premium membership?? the original premium membership if that makes sense) and i use it all the time. i am BEGGING the developers to fix the collage feature. it is buggy as all get out, i so appreciate that you guys have added the option to save the collage to your gallery so that you can come back and edit it later as opposed to just a one and done type deal, however half the time doing so completely wrecks the orientation of/other edits made to the images in the collage. it is so convenient to have such a simplistic and powerful photo editor in combination with a collage app, especially considering how FEW really good collage apps there are available. i like that you can overlay images however you want, there are no stodgy formatting rules, it’s easy to work with and really enables creativity in that regard- you guys could stay so competitive if you really put some oomf into the collage capabilities of this app. anyway that’s my 2 cents as someone who really appreciates so many aspects of this app!!
  • Premium too expensive for normal tools..

Its sad that I used to LOVE this app and had to go another app because every tool isn’t available anymore. I really dislike how the app doesn’t even have the bare minimum tools..
  • Grain used to be free 🙃

Grain is no longer free and with that this app is just not of use to me anymore. I used to love this app from way back when it released but when I came back a while ago to see some of the basic features now “pro” I just got baffled. From me, it’s 2 stars for the good memories, and that’s generous honestly, locking an old feature is suuuuch a bruh moment. Time for a new editing app, I wish this one the very best 🤗

I used to love VSCO. I used to have so much fun expressing my creativity and editing pictures on here. I even had my friends download so we could all have fun looking at each others beautiful edited pictures. Until recently. VSCO decided to sell its soul to capitalism and take away the one good thing I had in life—the A6 filter. The A6 filter used to be one of the free filters offered, and it was my go-to. I remember the days I could open up this app and use that filter and be filled with so much joy. Today, I opened up the app to edit a picture only to be told I could not use that filter anymore unless I upgraded to premium. I am extremely disappointed that the developers of this app decided to choose greed over generosity. Be shamed. Release the A6 filter back to the public. (Please. I’m begging I cannot pay for premium.)

VSCO, I am extremely disappointed. I have had this app since 2015 and the changes you’ve made are discouraging for others to want to use the app. It used to be my favorite for a quick edit and I loved that videos were free the first few years I had it. Now anytime I get on it seems like you guys have taken more and more away from us and I am not impressed.
