  • F2P or pay to win either way is fun

I started 2 years ago when there was only gvg expansion didn’t put a dime in and grinded out a good collection. You have to disenchant a lot of cards and craft one deck at a time and have good neutral cards that can go into any deck. It’s not a game you can just go in blind and hope to do well. It takes time to learn mechanics and what decks everyone else is playing. No need to complain about people dumping money into it so they can have a cool gameplay experience. Play arena or tavern brawls or even casual. Once you play it for a while and do your quests to get your gold to buy packs and you’ll be fine!
  • Updates break game

Every new update breaks it on iPhone X, end up having to delete and redownload every time there is an update just to play. Fix your app.

Support said new expansion will fix it. Hope so. I love this game and have emptied quite a bit of money on it.
  • Buggy and Not Optimized

Very great game on PC. Pretty laggy on mobile, needs better performance. Also, please optimize for new IPad Pro models, there are black bars from the top and bottom.

  • Increasingly pay to win

    By zsypx
I really enjoyed this game a for a very long time. There were always some balance issues between classes, like any game of its kind but I generally felt like there were few mechanics, if any that couldn’t be overcome by playing well and outthinking your opponent. In fact I even enjoyed playing people who had clearly purchased all their cards because I was still able to do well against them. As the game progressed however, Blizzard seemed to feel the need to come out with increasingly OP cards in order to pressure people to buy decks and put money into the game. I had to stop playing recently because I just could not keep up with the onslaught of new and overpowered cards. After about 2 years, I had amassed legendary and great cards without spending any money but soon found that I could not beat any deck running the new cards even with specific counters against them, unless I myself caved and put money into the game. If you look at the population over time, this community has been dying since Blizzard began pushing newer and game breaking cards. I am sad to be leaving but I cannot support a game that is now so frustratingly pay to win. RIP Hearthstone
  • Ever since the update...

Great game, always have fun playing it. Recently re-downloaded it after the most recent update. iPhone 8-plus running the most up to date IOS. But for some reason, after the blizzard screen, the game just stays on the “saloon doors” screen before the main menu. Won’t load the game, won’t respond to touch. Nothing. Already shut down and restarted, and deleted the game and reinstalled and still not working. 2 stars only for that flaw.
