  • Enjoy DFP - but...

I grew up in Michigan. Left the state in 1997. Live in Atlanta now. I like to stay in touch with Michigan news and sports. Unfortunate some content requires subscription now.
  • Slowly Moving to Subscription-based

The app is great and Freep has always done a good job but they are clearly moving to a subscription-based pay model. I wish they would get advertising revenue under control to keep from this happening. It’s a shame...

    Excellent coverage
  • Privacy concern

This app has no reason to be auto-pasting from the clipboard. Yet on start-up it does just that.

Stop charging for certain articles mainly sports related.

Considering it’s a Gannet Company, it’s ok. Homers for Michigan Football and liberal as can be. I like reading about my hometown so it’s good with that.
