  • Don’t waste your time or your money

    By Wolfywolfywolfy
There was a time when one could remain semi-competitive by spending little or no money, but you had to grind. In those days, the devs cared about StarvWars, interacted with their player base, and the environment felt somewhat like a partnership. I mean, obviously they needed to make money, but it wasn’t in your face all the time and they didn’t specifically try to eliminate f2p. Now, it’s only about money. Those who cared are either gone or have joined the Dark Side. The game is full of pop up ads. Like you see 5 in just a few minuets. Hard to get gear is now needed for lower level characters, forcing players to pay for a chance at the gear. Once great toons that many of us sunk a lot of time and/or money into have been nerfed. New game modes are constantly being tweaked to milk money from the players and, if I alluded to gambling earlier, like in Vegas, the House (EA) continually ensures that they have the advantage. There are better games out there, but this one has a Star Wars wrapper and that’s the ONLY thing that is saving it. Go. Find other games to play and don’t sink any money or time in this roulette wheel of a game where the stakes are just as high as In a casino. Better yet, go buy a lottery ticket. You probably have a better chance at winning the jackpot than you do of getting the gear you need.
  • How interesting it is!

    It’s so possible!!!
  • Typical mobile game

    By MeryStella
It’s hard to find games to play on ipad that don’t feel like they were made for phones, but unfortunately this is is one of them. It has a lot of potential but instead is a typical “freemium mobile game” with multiple currencies, annoying “energy”, etc. I would rather pay a few dollars to buy a game than deal with all that. Emphasis seems to be more on collecting and upgrading characters and getting players to spend money than anything else.
  • Lost all progress

    By Rangerthedog
I was level 83 and had most of the characters and it just deleted all of my progress. I spent years on that account and I can’t even get it back. I tried to go on their help page but nothing worked. Now I have probably 4 years of progress gone in less than a second.

  • Time killer

Not thrilling play but at least has no ads and so far in my play appears to be possible to just keep playing and not hit any brick walls where real money is required.
