Overall, I really enjoy the game. It’s rare to find a mobile game you can just play and advance in without running into a wall or having to pay money. The only thing that really bothers me is matching against other players. If all my characters are ten levels higher and my power is 5,000 points higher, you’d think I’d be able to do well, right? Well, that’s rarely the case. That’s something they should address. Otherwise, it’s a good experience.
  • Fun & Then Depressing...

This game is fun for a little while as they giveaway their Marque Characters but when it comes time when I really want to unlock a Legendary Character I have no choice but to Pay a lot of Money to quickly build up the other characters to unlock the Legendary Characters and that concept creation by the developers makes me Very Depressed Mickey :(
  • I highly recommend this game for all Star Wars fans! It is awesome!

I wouldn’t. This game was fun two years ago but now it only caters to those with money and a lot of it. If you are starting out in this game thinking you will win....NOT! The developers have made this game too technical to use and the ranking system is based on the toons you have. The more money you spend the higher your ranks get and then you can get the better rewards to get better characters. All of the sub games are set up the same way. If you have money then you will rank close to the top but for a new player that will never happen. The developers constantly change the way the characters play about a month after they come out. The developers make a “game changing character” and every scrambles to spend money to get teams developed to obtain the new character and once every one nearly has that toon then the developer nerf the character. This is a classic bait and switch. This game is FULL OF BAIT AND SWITCH TACTICS. Save your money and save your personal time and your family and try a different game.
  • Perfect game for the true Star Wars fan.

This game is the ideal combination of strategy and entertainment. So many characters to choose from and create your own unique roster. As a huge Bounty Hunter fan, SWGOH is a great chance to get to know these characters and take on those pesky Jedi, Sith, Ewoks, Empire, Rebels, etc. Bossk dominates for my favorite team!

Greetings, developers. It has come to my attention that, though aspects of this game are pay to win, the game is very good in its content. I have noticed other Free to Play players absolutely STRUGGLE to increase a gear level from eight to nine without having to pay some serious cash for it. And the fact that Revan, although insanely powerful, needs to be more “obtainable” by those who wish to get him. I also would like to kindly suggest that you devs can perhaps make advancement of characters, gear tiers, and all of that a bit easier on the Free to Play side of the force. Other than that, keep up the good work!

Final update and quit. The game is for suckers. If you like over paying and never getting ahead. You found a winner. After a year of trying i have quit. It never gets better. I promise you. Total money grab and un entertaining. The beginning was exciting cause you can actually do things and succeed! High levels are a grind fest and a struggle daily. And then the game just adjusts to that struggle and becomes harder. RUN AWAY! Update: lvl 85 ! You will never get ahead. Drop rates on anything you need are abysmal at the top levels. Everything rises in level as you do. So you are always struggling. You will never be on top looking down. Its made to drag you along in the hopes you spend money. Money doesn't help either, slot machine purchases.. Parents keep your kids away from this stuff, it really is the worst thing for their minds and bodies. Seriously, it only gets worse, not easier. No excitement, no fun. Just grind and get meager rewards. You end up not even watching the game, just auto fighting. Yes....Its that boring. Like a chore not a game. Games should be fun, not completely monetized from one end to infinity. You will regret the time you wasted playing, i promise you.. Since they removed my other review I will post another. I have played up to the max level for about a year. In that time all updates and changes made have only tilted the odds in their favor. You will not do better at higher levels, it only gets harder. The game matches your level to the difficulty. So aside from unlocking characters you will always be swimming upstream. Its designed this way so that you can never win. This increases the chances you spend money. Which in my opinion is the only thing this company cares about. Its repetitive to the point that it feels more like a chore then fun. Add in what I previously mentioned and you wonder why you waste your time. IF you do end up spending money you will receive meager rewards as many purchases are based off a slot machine random reward. You will always receive the minimum. It never fails. That way they can get more money from you. Get it? Trying to build a guild is next to impossible as there is no global chat room. You sit around waiting for people to join. And as a kicker, they ask you if you want to turn on app notifications ten times a day while playing the app. No matter how many times you say no, the pop up stops your gameplay to ask you again. Over and over. Just another thing that shows how little this company cares for you or your happiness. Its all about money. Parents keep your kids away from this game.

Mods 2.0! This has finally brought new life into the game for me. New shipments, new currency, tier 6 mods, mod slicing just to name a few of the great features recently added. Update September 28, 2018 -2 Stars They just released an event to unlock the original trilogy Chewbacca! Too bad winning is entirely based on luck. Same as every other event added to this game. Be prepared to pay to win. No surprise with this update really. Company greed makes games terrible. This game is starting to go down hill. Especially with the release of Nest. Update November 27, 2018 -1 Star Revan. $$$$$$$ December 13, 2018 The Revan meta can’t end fast enough. Let’s make free to play players absolutely miserable.

Hey if you have a lot of money to waste then this is your game. Pay to be on top. And I do mean pay a lot to be on top. $20 for one piece of gear. The game is set up that you could spend a large amount of money to advance very little in the game to receive minimum rewards. But that is current way video game companies are doing business. Just say so no.
