    I’m a subscriber of National Geographic and this app is VERY disappointing. I frequently get notifications of new NatGeo articles from my Apple News feed and when I click on the notification the app launches but the article doesn’t load. Developers need to spend more time testing. I’m on an iOS device with the latest version and the NatGeo app is current version. I don’t have any such issue with my other Apple News feed article - seems related specially related to NatGeo

    ❤️Love the content and would gladly pay for an ad free experience. 5 ad slots for a 30 minute program is a bit much. Maybe cut it down to 3? it would help the programming flow better and make me more likely to support the companies that are being advertised to me. 💰I’d also likely choose to frequent the Nat Geo app more often. I’m very appreciative of your programming 🤩

    Every single app under the Disney Inc. umbrella has the same issue I was able to track down the customer service phone number since I got nowhere emailing through the website multiple times… Customer service instantly answered the phone and walked me through the exact process of how to get the app working and had it working within minutes I tried the same set of steps to fix another app made by Disney, National Geographic live TV app which also wasn’t working with my spectrum service turns out it’s not the service at all it is an issue with iPhones single login verification system… You have to make sure that you click cancel when it asks you to sign into your TV provider when you first click on sign into your TV provider a white box will pick up with the options to cancel or go to settings when it asks for access to your TV provider you must click cancel it will then bring you to a screen where you will see all the different TV providers from there take your provider it will then bring you to a screen the lets you log into your TV provider once you click sign in it will start working immediately I’ve tried this on three different TV apps made by Disney all have the same errors with authenticity Keeshan etc. and all were fixed by turning off the TV provider button in that app in the settings menu and by clicking cancel when it asks to access the provider if you have any further issu es call their customer service number they are super friendly and open 24 hours a day seven days a week; 183324300805. cheers mates. PS; I am hoping you have figured out by now that this will also work with every single app giving the same type of error under the Disney umbrella of apps I would also try this solution on non-Disney apps as it has very much to do with apples single sign feature which causes more problems then it resolves you’re welcome!

    I’ve streamed National Geographic channel for years through my cable network. Lately I have to delete the app and re add the silly thing. For some reason it won’t acknowledge my cable provider unless I start from the beginning. I do understand that I could make my own account within the app but I’m tired of app providers selling my info. ( yet another way to make money off of me) This will no longer be a problem for me because I’m unable to watch the shows I used to stream. I work when my normal shows air on my cable network. Unless I purchase the additional streaming service ( even though I already pay for National Geographic through my cable network) I’m unable to watch the shows I would like to watch. Basically I would be paying for advertising for one channel to two separate providers. I’m done with National Geographic and also will not renew my subscription to the magazine. It was nice knowing you when you were more interested in imparting knowledge instead of making a buck.

    There is virtually nothing to like about this app. The "My List" functionality is buried, the app doesn't follow the standard "episodes are displayed in ascending order", instead, you have to scroll all the way to the end of the list to watch the first episode of a season. Series don't play if a new season starts. Menus at the top don't activate until you click, breaking with every other tvOS app where simply hovering a menu entry activates that tab. You HAVE to sign up for an account to have continuity across devices. But the worst offender by far are the amount of ads you have to sit through. Even with a PAID Disney subscription, the amount of ads is incomprehensible, Disney is just bilking us at this point. I'm breaking the cycle and canceling my entire Disney suite subscription on principle alone at this point. Absolutely horrific app, and even worse policies.
