    Received an email with the link to complete a form. I completed the form and received an email but it wasn’t in a language that I could read. Well that’s not very helpful. What a waste of time. Update I called HBOMax and their Custer service was wonderful and resolved my issue.

    This app is probably the worst piece of crap available on the App Store. A company with the size and stature of HBO should be embarrassed to charge us for something that is so poor.
  • Downloads often fail

    Downloading a show often fails. A program stops downloading midway through and simply doesn’t restart. Lately it crashes when I try to play a download and the app quits. Other times the download shows an error when I try to play it. Received a bizarre response for me to refer to a website to fix the download problems and crashing app. Instead maybe just fix the app? Never have these issues on Netflix or prime video…

    You think after so many streaming platform attempts HBO would have it down by now. They don’t. The app is so annoying it’s a shame they have decent shows, because I can’t watch them.

    I had deleted the app off my phone a few months ago but then decided to resubscribe but for some reason, it keeps trying to charge me JUST to download the app Is it not free?? I already paid for the subscription too like?

    Cannot watch on phone app. Asks me to choose provider but I don’t have one. When I click my account it can’t find. I can watch on Roku tv though. No way to sign in on phone, so can’t watch away from home.
  • Needed improvements

    For one, currently watching Game of Thrones on the service, and the “Next Episode” option pops on the screen with multiple minutes in the episodes still left before the credits roll; and if I don’t cancel the “next episode” option within a few seconds, it skips to the next episode before the current episode has even finished. This is extremely annoying and I and my family would appreciate this be fixed so we can better enjoy the shows on the service. I hope someone sees this to rectify the problem.

  • Worst Movie App Ever!

    Bro this app continues to have buffering and streaming problems. It literally would not connect to my chromecast. Every time I play a movie it always buffers. No other app I have does this.
  • Horrendous User Experience

    As terrible as this app is on iOS it’s incredible it’s even worse on Apple TV. What an incredibly frustrating experience. Black screens, unresponsive prompts. You name it.
